At CarboQuímica, we continue to advance our sustainability and climate change management strategy. As of the end of 2025, we have maintained a cumulative 42% reduction in CO₂e emissions intensity (Scopes 1 and 2) per net sales, using 2019 as our baseline year.

During this period, our total Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions decreased from 13,252 metric tons of CO₂e in 2019 to 7,686 metric tons in 2025.

This achievement has been made possible through operational efficiency initiatives implemented over recent years, with a focus on three key strategic areas:

Process Innovation: Through increased production capabilities and the implementation of cascading manufacturing systems.

Operational Efficiency: Through the automation and optimization of key processes.

Energy Optimization: Through the integration and utilization of energy generated across production lines.

While annual results may vary due to changes in production levels, product portfolio composition, and operating conditions, the long-term trend demonstrates significant progress in reducing emissions intensity and creating value with a lower carbon footprint per unit of sales.

In 2025, we advanced the measurement of Scope 3 emissions and continued defining both short- and long-term emissions reduction targets, aligned with our sustainability strategy.
