| CARBOQUIMICA S. A. was present in the International Exhibition Colombiaplast-Expoempaque 2008, a specialized exhibition site of the industry of plastics, rubber and petrochemicals, bottles and packages, taking place in Bogota, Colombia from September 29th thru October 3rd of 2008. In addition to our business offer, CARBOQUIMICA S. A. explained the technological developments and innovating projects in the use of plasticizers and additives for the PVC industry. |
| CARBOQUIMICA S. A. in the ANDEAN FORUM OF PVC |
| Last January 31st and February 1st of 2008, CARBOQUIMICA S. A. participated in the biennial exhibition 2008 of the Andean Forum of PVC. The forum plenary analyzed the opportunities and challenges that the industry of PVC is facing worldwide, at technological, commercial, environmental and social levels. In the programmed conferences, recognized leaders and international experts presented a long-term vision for the sustainability of the PVC industry, the advantages of PVC products at satisfying necessities of sustainable development, better practices in the life cycle of PVC, technical updating and trends in worldwide progress in research, development of better practices and materials for manufacturing, transforming and recycling of PVC as well as the latest achievements in the field of the stabilization and the additives for flexible and rigid PVC. |

Last September 26th of 2006, CARBOQUIMICA S. A. reached its first fifty years of business life. It has been 50 years of achievements and satisfaction, of constant evolution and progress to be able to remain in the market and thus satisfy the changing necessities of our customers and generate benefits to all of us who participate of this industrial project.
