POLYSTAB® stabilizer line are high technology stabilizers used in almost all the forms of PVC processing such as: calendering, extrusion, blow molding and injection molding.

We have more than 30 references between tin stabilizers (mercaptides, carboxylates and mercapto-carboxylates) and mixtures of metallic salts (Ba-Cd, Ba-Zn, Ca-Zn, Ba-Cd-Zn, Al-Zn).

Polystab E-176	POLYSTAB E-176 is a low cost and highly efficient stabilizer of Sulphur and Butyl Tin. It has been especially designed for rigid pipe extrusion of poly (vinyl chloride), PVC. Using POLYSTAB E-176 provides stability to heat and good retention of color. APPLICATIONS: Rigid compounds of PVC in extrusion, small diameter piping.
Polystab E-178	POLYSTAB E-178 is a low cost and highly efficient stabilizer of Butyl Tin and Sulphur. POLYSTAB E-178 was developed to stabilize compounds of PVC for piping due to its optimum relationship cost-performance. It is ideal for tie layer sheets for walls, window panes and other applications of rigid poly vinyl chloride, PVC, requiring a high stabilization, resistance superior to the open air and high color retention. APPLICATIONS: Rigid compounds of PVC in extrusion, tubes of greater diameter.
Polystab E-401	POLYSTAB E-401 is a low cost and highly efficient stabilizer of Butyl tin and Sulphur. POLYSTAB E-401 is a low cost stabilizer specially designed for the extrusion of rigid tubes of poly vinyl chloride, PVC. POLYSTAB E-401 provides an excellent stability to hit and a good retention of color. It is used under low concentration, substituting more expensive products without changing the operation condition. POLYSTAB E-401 is likely lubricated and allows an easy reprocessing. APPLICATIONS: Rigid compounds of PVC in extrusion, piping.
Polystab E-137	POLYSTAB E-137 is a stabilizer of Butyl tin and Sulphur used for the stabilization of rigid compounds of poly vinyl chloride. POLYSTAB E-137 is a thermal stabilizer mainly designed for the extrusion of poly vinyl chloride, PVC. POLYSTAB E-137 is totally compatible with the resin of poly vinyl chloride, PVC and its additives, allowing an excellent color control, good long-term stability, intense shine, good chemical resistance and low extraction. It does not cause plate-out or exuding problems. POLYSTAB E-137 provides very good results in processes of extrusion and molding by injection of compounds of poly vinyl chloride, PVC. POLYSTAB E-137 provides good resistance to the open air for application in construction materials such as profiles channels and drains. APPLICATIONS: Rigid compounds of PVC, it is poly functional for extrusion and injection.
Polystab E-81MH	POLYSTAB E-81MH is a Butyl Tin stabilizer with Sulphur for poly (vinyl chloride), PVC. It is a thermal stabilizer designed mainly for the extrusion of profiles and tubes and the injection of poly (vinyl chloride), PVC accessories. POLYSTAB E-81MH is totally compatible with the resin of poly (vinyl chloride), PVC and its additives, allowing an excellent color control, crystal brightness, high shine, high chemical resistance and low extractability. It does not cause any problems of exudation or plate-out. POLYSTAB E-81MH provides very good results in processes of extrusion, calendering and molding by injection. POLYSTAB E-81MH requires an optimal balance of lubrication. Avoid the use of Estearic Acid (especially in applications where high transparency is required) for the secondary reactions that can be produced. Polystab E-430	POLYSTAB E-430 is a stabilizer of butyl tin and Sulphur for the stabilization of compounds of poly vinyl chloride. POLYSTAB E-430 provides an excellent stability to heat and for that reason, it can be used in almost all processing systems of poly vinyl chloride, PVC. POLYSTAB E- 430 can be considered as a multipurpose stabilizer to process rigid and plasticized poly vinyl chloride, PVC of general use. It gives good transparency to elaborated items. POLYSTAB E- 430 requires an optimal lubrication balance. It is compatible with poly vinyl chloride, PVC; therefore, it does not cause plate-out or exudation problems. APPLICATIONS: Multipurpose for rigids in injection, extrusion and plasticizing of general use.
Polystab E-84	POLYSTAB E-84 is a butyl tin stabilizer, carboxylate type. It is a thermal stabilizer of butyl tin presenting good efficiency among the stabilizers of its type (Sulphur free). It provides good transparency and resistance to light and to the compounds of rigid and plasticized poly vinyl chloride, PVC. However, the initial color is inferior to that obtained with tin and Sulphur stabilizers. Its main quality is the stability to light and it is especially used in processes of sheet extrusion and blowing of rigid and semi-rigid films of general use. POLYSTAB E- 84 has a good performance with both suspension and emulsion resins. POLYSTAB E- 84 is appropriate for flexible formulation where low residual odor is required. The use POLYSTAB E- 84 is recommended with a good level of lubrication to prevent the compound adhere to the metallic surfaces of the equipment. The concentration and type of external lubricant is especially important. APPLICATIONS: Rigid and semi-rigid PVC sheet, flower covers and low odor applications.
Polystab E-895	POLYSTAB E-895 is a thermal stabilizer for poly vinyl chloride of Octyl Tin and Sulphur. POLYSTAB E- 895 is stated in the rule F.D.A 21 CFR part 178.2650 to be used as a thermal stabilizer in poly (vinyl chloride), PVC to be in contact with food. POLYSTAB E-895 is a thermal stabilizer designed mainly for the heat stabilization of rigid compounds for bottles and packages for food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical products. POLYSTAB E-895 is compatible with the resin of poly vinyl chloride, PVC and its additives, allowing an excellent color control, crystal brightness, high shine, high chemical resistance and low extraction, giving low residual odor and flavor. It does not cause any plate-out or exudation problems. POLYSTAB E-895 has good results in the processes of extrusion, calendering and molding by injection. POLYSTAB E-895 is a stabilizer that requires an optimal lubrication balance. Avoid the use of Estearic Acid (especially in applications where high transparency is required) for the secondary reactions that may arise. APPLICATIONS: Compounds of rigid and flexible PVC in extrusion, blowing and calendering. Approved by FDA.
Polystab E-830	POLYSTAB E-830 is a thermal stabilizer for poly (vinyl chloride), PVC of slightly lubricated Octyl Tin and Sulphur. POLYSTAB E-830 is a thermal stabilizer designed mainly for heat stabilization of rigid and colored compounds of homo polymers and copolymers of poly (vinyl chloride), PVC. POLYSTAB E-830 is recommended for calendering, extrusion and injection processes for rigid and plasticized compounds. It can also be used in the stabilization of flexible compounds for general use where a good transparency and thermal stability are required. APPLICATIONS: Rigid colored PVC compounds in calendering, injection and extrusion.
Polystab E-82	POLYSTAB E-82 is an Octyl Tin stabilizer, carboxylate type. POLYSTAB E-82 is used in applications of rigid poly (vinyl chloride), PVC to be in contact with food. Within this field of application, the preparation of rigid film is outstanding, giving products of low odor, high transparency and good resistance to light and humidity. POLYSTAB E-82 is recommended to be used at a good level of lubrication to avoid the compound to adhere to the metallic surfaces of the equipment. The kind of external lubricant and its concentration is especially important. POLYSTAB E-82 is recommended for rigid film extrusion blowing. APPLICATIONS: Rigid PVC compounds especially in plates, applications that require low odor for contact with food and candy film. Approved by FDA.
Polystab E-486	POLYSTAB E-486 is a thermal stabilizer, Butyl Tin Carboxylate type modified with Sulphur. It has been designed especially for the extrusion of rigid compounds of poly (vinyl chloride), PVC to be used outdoors. For those applications where good light properties are required, it is necessary to reinforce the formula by incorporating stabilizers to light. The use of POLYSTAB E-486 provides an excellent stability to heat and good color retention, thus substituting more expensive products without changing the operation conditions. Combinations with compounds of Plumb or Cadmium must be avoided due to the color that can be generated. For a good performance of the product, a good lubrication is required. POLYSTAB E-486 is also recommended for the stabilization of semi-rigid and plasticized compounds with good properties to light. APPLICATIONS: Rigid and plasticized compounds with good properties to light. Tiles.

Polystab BC-40	POLYSTAB BC-40 is a Barium-Cadmium thermal stabilizer containing synergistic additives that help providing a good initial color and a good long-term thermal stability. POLYSTAB BC-40 is a stabilizer of general use for most processes of transformation of poly (vinyl chloride), PVC into semi-rigid and plasticized compounds. It can be used with suspension or emulsion resins in processes of extrusion, injection or calendering. POLYSTAB BC-40 is a thermal stabilizer that provides good stability to heat, excellent stability to light and crystal transparency. It is recommended to be used in the manufacturing of plates, flexible tubes and profiles. POLYSTAB BC-40 does not have lubricant properties. APPLICATIONS: Flexible formulations.
Polystab BC-470	POLYSTAB BC-470 is a Barium-Cadmium thermal stabilizer containing synergistic additives that help giving a good initial color, keeping the color and providing a good long-term thermal stability. POLYSTAB BC-470 is a general use stabilizer for most transformation processes of poly (vinyl chloride), PVC in semi-rigid and plasticized compounds. It is recommended for extrusion, injection or calendering processes. It is a stabilizer that provides good stability to heat, excellent stability to light and crystal transparency, making it proper for highly transparent products of general use. POLYSTAB BC-470 is recommended to be used in the production of plasticized and semi-rigid plates, flexible tubes, profiles, hosepipes and soles. APPLICATIONS: Injection, soles, hosepipes, films.
Polystab BC-480	POLYSTAB BC-480 is a Barium-Cadmium thermal stabilizer containing synergistic additives that help giving a good initial color, keeping color and providing a good long-term thermal stability. POLYSTAB BC-480 is a general use stabilizer for most of the transformation processes of poly (vinyl chloride), PVC in plasticized and semi-rigid compounds. It is recommended for extrusion, injection and calendering processes. POLYSTAB BC-480 can be used in the production of plasticized and semi-rigid plates, flexible tubes, profiles, hosepipes and soles. APPLICATIONS: Calendering. Substitute of BC-470
Polystab BC-481	POLYSTAB BC-481 is a Barium-Cadmium thermal stabilizer containing synergistic additives that help giving a good initial color, keeping it and providing a good long-term thermal stability. POLYSTAB BC-481 is a general use stabilizer for most of the transformation processes of poly (vinyl chloride), PVC in semi-rigid and plasticized compounds. It is recommended for extrusion, injection and calendering processes. POLYSTAB BC-481 can be used in the manufacturing of plasticized and semi-rigid plates, flexible tubes, profiles, hosepipes and soles. POLYSTAB BC-481 is highly compatible and produces low plate-out. APPLICATIONS: Calendering. Low plate-out.
Polystab BC-490	POLYSTAB BC-490 is a Barium-Cadmium thermal stabilizer containing synergistic additives that help giving a good initial color and providing a good long-term thermal stability. POLYSTAB BC-490 is a general use stabilizer for most of the transformation processes of poly (vinyl chloride), PVC in semi-rigid and plasticized compounds. It is recommended for extrusion, injection and calendering processes. POLYSTAB BC-490 is a stabilizer that provides good stability to heat, to light and good color retention. These properties make POLYSTAB BC-490 appropriate for demanding processes such as molding for injection. POLYSTAB BC-490 can be used in the production of plasticized and semi-rigid plates, flexible tubes, profiles, hosepipes and soles. APPLICATIONS: Calendering.

Polystab BZ-745	POLYSTAB BZ-745 is a Barium-Zinc complex thermal stabilizer for semi-rigid and flexible PVC compounds with synergistic additives that help providing a good initial color and a good long-term stability to heat. POLYSTAB BZ-745 is a general use stabilizer intended to stabilize semi-rigid and flexible compounds of poly(vinyl chloride), PVC. POLYSTAB BZ-745 provides excellent properties in processes where high transparency, good initial color and good color retention during the process are required. POLYSTAB BZ-745 is recommended in processes of calendering, extrusion and molding of flexible and semi-rigid poly(vinyl chloride), PVC compounds. It is also present in the transformation of plastisole by means of coating and rotational molding processes. It is appropriate for systems where the use of Cadmium is restricted. It does not represent any problems of sulphur staining. APLICACIONES: Plastisoles.
Polystab BZ-725SB	POLYSTAB BZ-725 SB is a Barium-Zinc complex thermal stabilizer containing synergistic additives that help providing a good initial color and a good long-term thermal stability. POLYSTAB BZ-725 SB is recommended for the manufacturing of technical products, plasticized and semi-rigid poly(vinyl chloride), PVC, obtained through calendering and extrusion processes. POLYSTAB BZ-725 SB provides an excellent initial color and a good long-term thermal stability to poly (vinyl chloride), PVC resins non–sensitive to Zinc. It is also effective in processing of poly (vinyl chloride, PVC, emulsion grade. One of its main advantages when using it is the low tendency to produce plate-out. This quality makes it suitable for calendering systems of plasticized poly (vinyl chloride), PVC. It is appropriate for systems where the use of Cadmium is restricted. APPLICATIONS: Plastisoles, films for calendering.
Polystab BZ-220	POLYSTAB BZ-220 is a solid type Barium-Zinc stabilizer, with lubricant action for poly (vinyl chloride), PVC compounds. POLYSTAB BC-220 is a stabilizer especially developed to be used in combination with Barium-Zinc liquid stabilizers in calendering, extrusion and injection processes of poly (vinyl chloride), PVC compounds, both semi-rigid and plasticized. The use of both, solid and liquid systems helps improving the resistance to heat and makes the process for its lubricant contribution easier. APPLICATIONS: Soles.
Polystab BZ-250	POLYSTAB BZ-250 is a solid type Barium-Zinc stabilizer designed for the production of plasticized compounds of PVC. POLYSTAB BZ-250 is a Barium-Zinc stabilizer for the production of flexible compounds of PVC with a filling convenient for processes of extrusion, injection and molding. POLYSTAB BZ-250 is suggested as a replacement for Barium-Cadmium solid systems in applications of injection and extrusion and is characterized by its high stability to heat, its good initial color and due to its low volatility, problems associated with fogging are very low. APPLICATIONS: Plastisoles under fogging for the automotive industry.

Polystab ZC-68	POLYSTAB ZC-68 is a solid Calcium-Zinc complex thermal stabilizer. POLYSTAB ZC-68 is used for the resin stabilization of poly (vinyl chloride), PVC, suspension and emulsion type, and non-sensitive to Zinc, used in the production of nontoxic plasticized products obtained by means of calendering, extrusion, molding for blowing and molding for injection processes. POLYSTAB ZC-68 meets the requirements for nontoxic wrappings for food and pharmaceutical products. It does not give any odor or flavor to the terminated product. POLYSTAB ZC-68 has lubricant properties and does not cause stains for sulphur. APPLICATIONS: Flexible formulations: erasers, food contact.
Polystab ZC-640	POLYSTAB ZC-640 is a solid Calcium-Zinc complex thermal stabilizer containing synergistic additives contributing to a good initial color. POLYSTAB ZC-640 is recommended for the stabilization of nontoxic semi-rigid and plasticized poly (vinyl chloride), PVC compounds to be processed by calendering, extrusion and molding for injection. POLYSTAB ZC-640 meets the nontoxic regulations for the manufacturing of packages for food. It does not give any odor or flavor to the finished product. POLYSTAB ZC-640 has lubricant properties and does not cause stains in environments contaminated by sulphur. POLYSTAB ZC-640 provides good transparency, good initial color and excellent color retention during the process. By including the formulation of an epoxidized plasticizer and a co-stabilizer phosphate type, stability to heat and light improves remarkably. APPLICATIONS: Cap-liner.
Polystab ZC-70	POLYSTAB ZC-70 is a Calcium-Zinc complex thermal stabilizer in the form of paste, containing synergistic additives that contribute to a good initial color. POLYSTAB ZC-70 is a stabilizer developed for the manufacturing of poly (vinyl chloride), PVC products, for food and pharmaceutical product packages. POLYSTAB ZC-70 meets the nontoxic regulations for this kind of applications and does not produce odor or flavor on terminated products. POLYSTAB ZC-70 is recommended for diverse transformation processes of poly (vinyl chloride), PVC, such as calendering, extrusion and molding for injection. POLYSTAB ZC-70 is used with resins of suspension and emulsion giving high transparency to finished products. POLYSTAB ZC-70 is recommended in the stabilization of plastisoles, especially for the production of nontoxic foods. APPLICATIONS:Stretch film, bags for saline solution.
Polystab ZC-611	POLYSTAB ZC-611 is a Calcium-Zinc complex thermal stabilizer paste containing synergistic additives that contribute to a good initial color. POLYSTAB ZC-611 is a stabilizer developed for the production of poly (vinyl chloride), PVC products, food packages and products for pharmaceutical use. POLYSTAB ZC-611 meets the nontoxic regulations for this kind of applications. It is recommended in transformation processes of poly (vinyl chloride), PVC, such as calendering, extrusion and molding by injection. POLYSTAB ZC-611 is used with suspension and emulsion resins to give high transparency to finished products. This property makes it useful for the manufacture of bottles for mineral water by means of the extrusion-blowing process. Calendering of rigid film is combined with octyl tin mercaptides such as POLYSTAB E-895 in order to obtain a better performance. POLYSTAB ZC-611 is also recommended in the stabilization of plastisoles especially for the manufacturing of nontoxic products. APPLICATIONS: Bottles, nontoxic products, calendering, extrusion and molding by injection.
Polystab ZC-11	POLYSTAB ZC-11 is a Calcium-Zinc complex stabilizer in paste,colored from white to cream. POLYSTAB ZC-11 is a Calcium-Zinc developed for the production of plasticized poly (vinyl chloride, PVC products to be in contact with food such as tubes and plasticized films. POLYSTAB ZC-11 meets the regulations of nontoxic substances for this kind of applications. It is recommended in diverse transformation processes of poly (vinyl chloride), PVC, such as calendering, blowing extrusion and molding by injection, where thermal demands and shearing conditions are not high enough. POLYSTAB ZC-11 can also be used in calendering with suspension and emulsion resins conferring high transparency to finished products. POLYSTAB ZC-11 can also be used in calendering of rigid film where it is combined with octyl tin mercaptides, such as POLYSTAB E-895, in order to obtain a better performance. APPLICATIONS: Dolls. Nontoxic.
Polystab ZC-61	POLYSTAB ZC-61 is a liquid Calcium-Zinc complex thermal stabilizer used for the stabilization of plasticized poly (vinyl chloride), PVC compounds of general use. POLYSTAB ZC-61 is mainly used in the stabilization of plasticized compounds of poly (vinyl chloride), PVC, plastisole type and organosole type where air liberation and a stable viscosity are facilitated. It is recommended in covering processes such as synthetic leather, floors, etc. It can also be used in processes of rotational molding and vacuum molding in the manufacture of toys, dolls and technical items. Usage of POLYSTAB ZC-61 provides good transparency to compounds and high resistance to heat. It is also recommended in the stabilization of general use plasticized compounds with suspension resins. Although POLYSTAB ZC-61 is not a stabilizer recommended for nontoxic applications, its use implies lower risk for both health and environment, compared to the traditional Barium-Cadmium and Barium-Zinc systems. Polylub GMS	POLYLUB GMS is an internal lubricant, partial Ester type of Fatty Acid. POLYLUB GMS is used for poly (vinyl chloride), PVC compounds. It shows good compatibility between resins and their additives, resulting from polarity of the molecule. POLYLUB GMS improves the response of the rigid compounds stabilized with Tin Mercaptides. It also shows synergistic properties with thermal stabilizers Calcium-Zinc type. It can be used in processes of accessory injection for piping. POLYLUB GMS reduces the effect of steaming up in food packages. POLYLUB GMS has a high antistatic power that combined with a proper external lubricant has a wide application field in processes of injection, calendering and blowing. APPLICATIONS: Accessory injection instead of calcium stearate. Film of rigid compounds.
Polylub S4	POLYLUB S4 is an internal lubricant, ester type of fatty acid. POLYLUB S4 is used in the preparation of rigid compounds of poly (vinyl chloride), PVC, for food products packaging. POLYLUB S4 can be used with emulsion and suspension type resins in rigid and plasticized compounds providing excellent flow properties, resulting in a good response during the process. POLYLUB S4 fulfills the non-toxic requirements for the formulation. Even in concentrations higher to 3.0 phr., it does not provoke steaming up. It can be used in calendering, extrusion and molding by injection. APPLICATIONS: It is rigid as internal lubricant. Better transparency and non-toxic.
